Tree Surveys for Development to BS5837-2012

Tree surveys are the first step in the arboricultural process. All our tree surveys are completed in accordance with British Standard 5837 (2012) ‘Trees in Relation to Design, Demolition & Construction – Recommendations’.

We produce our BS5837 - 2012 reports in PDF format rather than DWG. This enables us to include both Tree Constraints Plans (TCP) and Tree Protection Plans (TPP) within one document. On site with a large number of freestanding trees, it might be better to use a consultancy that uses DWG. On all other sites, we are likely to be significantly more 'competitive' as most companies charge separately for the Tree Report, the TCP and the TPP. Our quotation on the other hand is inclusive of these aspects.

Conducting a Tree Survey concurrently with an Ecological Survey will save you money and help ensure that the combined process is 'joined up' and complimentary.
